Emergency Information
Emergencies don’t happen very often, but it’s always best to be prepared.
Normal post-operative symptoms are: decreased appetite, decreased energy level, mild nausea, small amount of fluid seepage from incision, slight swelling (any lumps should be firm like the inside of your thumb) or redness at incision. If diarrhea occurs for longer than a day, please take your pet to your regular vet for a fecal exam. Any prolonged incidence of these symptoms could indicate a more serious problem, in which case you should call our Medical Hotline.
If you have any concerns about your pet’s medical condition within two weeks following surgery, please call our CatSnip Medical Hotline at 404-725-2286 until 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
After 8:30 PM and on weekends, please contact your nearest emergency animal hospital.
For medical records and other non-emergency information, please call our office at 770-455-7077.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the animal emergency facility nearest to you.
